Crazy busy, but it's all good :)

Sorry to have been MIA for so long, but again I have to say it is Spring and we are in the Nursery business! That pretty much says it all. lol

We are having a huge sale this weekend so yes, we are just Crazy busy!! Everything in the Nurseries are marked 20% off and that is on top of what ever is already on sale. We don't open until 9am, Paul and I got to our farm location at 7:30 yesterday morning, we had people already waiting in the parking lot! Oh my gosh!! I told them they were welcome to shop and load their carts but the staff would not be in until 9. They were quite happy to head out and do their shopping :)

We also did Kids Club with about 20 kiddos, planting up a flower and decorating the pot up for a cute Mother's Day gift. I love working with these kids, they are just so much fun! Hey if anyone knows of a NON TOXIC waterproof glue PLEASE LET ME KNOW! I have been looking for one because of course with the kids I do not want to use anything toxic. Luckily Judy (Carma's Mom) brought Bryson and Trystin and her CAMERA cause Anita and I had our hands full helping the kids. So she said she would pass me the photos, gosh I LOVE DIGITAL CAMERAS!!

I know I owe lots of people blog comments, emails and such. I will try and play catch-up this week. I got a sweet email from Laura just checking in on me since she had not heard anything out of me for a bit. (thanks Laura) :)

Ok, gotta get moving but I will leave you with a Photo of Justin and Kaylie. She is talking more and climbed up on her Daddy's lap just to give him a love. Ok, that just about melted my heart! :)

I ran 'Rusty Cage' action on this photo by Totally Rad Actions and Stylish in Black frame action from Photo-licious by Natasha Whitely.

Happy Mom's Day Brooke! The photo is so sweet - they are so lucky to have you documenting things! The work at the nursery sounds fun!

For the glue - here is a link for homemade non-toxic (edible) glue - http://www.indoindians.com/tips/homemade_glue.htm

I think Elmer's is also non-toxic.

Hi Brooke,

Thank you for visiting my blog - I'm so grateful you did, for I found yours this way. I think your blog is wonderful - your mom's page really touched my heart. My husband Miles HATES devilled eggs - like he really hates the taste AND the name LOL - but I love the taste, so whenever there is a pot-luck lunch at the Learning Center where he teaches (there's a potluck once a month) then thats when I fill up on them. I'm going to always call them Hallelujah eggs now too.

Looks like you too, live in a beautiful place. God is So Good. I am bookmarking you for future visits!

Oh, you comment way more on my blog than I do yours! I appreciate your comments and it does get me to come here to see what is up with you. I did not realize you owned a nursery (or do you just work there). I can imagine that this would be a busy time for you and you would have no time for anything else.

I'm clicking to check out that action...such a great photo!
